Kid Cudi is a well known name in American music industry. This GOOD Music artist has worked with many music stalwarts like Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Common etc. and his many of his singles are rocking various songs charts.

His debut mix tape called A Kid Named Cudi got wide acclaim from critics. His most successful works still remained “Day ‘n’ Nite”. His professional musical career started when he was 20 years old. He along with 10.Deep released a mix tape which was available for free download. However, things changed for Kid pretty soon as Kayne West got to hear Kid’s voice and decided to get him under GOOD Music label.

Kayne’s West popular album 808s & Heartbreak, featured Kid Cudi and it helped him gain identity among the masses. Various online magazines and portals appreciated Kid’s work and some of them even nominated him for upcoming star of the year.

His first appearance on Television took place in the year 2008 at MTV’s Music Awards. Kid’s debut album is Man on the Moon: The End of the Day. This album was released on 15th September 2009. “Day ‘n’ Nite” which was an extremely popular single from this album, gave Kid the much needed popularity. Another single of this album “Make Her Say” featured performance by Kayne West, Lady GaGa and Common, became an instant hit.

Kid has also give backgrounds scores in some computer and play station games. Currently, Kid is working in projects with Chip Tha Ripper and Ratata. He has also gone on the Great Hangover concert tour in mid-2009 and had performed with various artists like Asher Roth, Lady GaGa. Kid’s next album is going to be titled “Cudder” and it will be in collaboration with another singer. He has already begun working on this project and has even recorded few songs with Travis Barker, Clipse, Snoop Dogg, and Pharrell and Cage. Kid is also nominated for three categories in the prestigious Grammy Awards for the year 2010.

Apart from singing, he also likes acting. He will be seen in a hilarious series titled, How to Make it in America. The artist is slowly transforming his career from music to acting; however he says music will always remain his first love.  Kid Cudi is real fire, and the way this guy raps is simply amazing.
